"SHEEP FOR RAISING"

In spring 2004, we plan to buy a certain number of sheep and donate them to Bosnian muslims in need, so that we can help them and motivate them to work and earn money. Read more

Mufid, Haris and Muris

Near Foca, more precisely about 15 km before Foca, there is a village called Mravinjac on both sides of the river Drina. This small village would not draw much attention if it weren’t for the sorrow that has overcome this village. It has become even more difficult in the last one month. The family Malicevic that once had five family members has been left with only three members since August this year. Three children, Haris, Mufid and Muris have lost their parents. The father, Meho, had become ill last year and died soon after. The mother, Mevla, was badly injured in an accident in July this year and died a month later, leaving three small children behind her.

The three boys were left in shock and all alone in their own house. However, their aunt Fatima, who also lives in Mravinjac, soon came to take care of the children.

Fatima didn’t have much time to grieve over her sister’s death herself, because together with her husband she immediately took all the children to her house and tried to compensate the love and care for the children who lost their parents. As Fatima’s husband told us, it was not easy to overcome the shock and sorrow, but thanks to Allah, laughter has returned once again to this house.

Haris is 3rd grade, Muris 5th, and little Mufid 1st. At the moment, they have received books and clothes for this school year, but any charity would be helpful to them.

If you ever travel through Foca towards Rogatica, stop by in Mravinjac and ask for these three boys. You will find them easily. They live in their aunt’s house (surname Muratspahici). But since we plan to visit them again, you can send them your donation via SADAKE.COM, or you can visit them together with us.
